Cruiser Club USA Chapter 30 History

Chapter 30 of Cruiser Club U.S.A. was founded by Greg Henderson in the fall of 1998 after meeting a NC Chapter on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Greg was so impressed by the kindness and family atmosphere demonstrated by this chapter that he set out to join a VA Chapter. Unfortunately, none existed at the time. After contacting the National President Chuck Cottrell in Indiana, VA's Chapter 30 was born.

Over the years this family oriented motorcycle organization has been responsible for many community fund raisers, poker runs, and The Heart of VA Bike Fair, which has grown into one of the largest motorcycle events in the Farmville VA area. It's not all work though! Chapter 30 has plenty of time for riding! Weekends usually offer up an opportunity for as many as wish to ride to saddle up and roll! We've had some great extended rides as well. Some of our rides have taken us to Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Indiana to name a few destinations.

Currently there are three other VA Chapters located across the State. In the Richmond VA area…Chapter 24; Lynchburg VA area… Blue Ridge Chapter 26;  Northern VA area… Chapter 29. Chapter 30 looks forward to the continued growth in the Central VA area and strives to continue with community involvement and the family style atmosphere enjoyed by all those that are part of Cruiser Club USA Chapter 30.
