Cruiser Club USA Chapter 30
Membership Requirements
To be eligible for membership, applicant must meet one of the following criteria:
- Persons applying as a Motorcycle Rider must possess a current operator's license with a motorcycle endorsement and motorcycle insurance coverage for listed motorcycle(s).
- Persons can apply as Motorcycle Enthusiasts which is defined as a person who tends to become compassionately absorbed in the interest of motorcycles.
Specific Criteria for those applying as a Motorcycle Rider:
- Riders must demonstrate safe riding habits and show evidence of group riding.
- It is recommended that those wishing to join Cruiser Club USA Chapter 30 as a Motorcycle Rider will ride with the group on at least two (2) occasions before pursuing membership.
Specific Criteria for those applying as Motorcycle Enthusiasts:
Persons applying to become members who are not riders of motorcycles will be responsible to provide assistance at fund raisers or other activities initiated by Cruiser Club USA Chapter 30 and attend meeting regularly.
Cruiser Club USA Chapter 30 reserves the right to deny membership to applicants if there exist circumstances which may cause physical or reputable damage to the members or to the organization of Cruiser Club USA, Cruiser Club USA Chapter 30.
Anyone wishing to join Cruiser Club USA, Heart of Virginia Chapter 30 must submit to the President a completed membership application.
Application Process after submission to President:
- The President will present the application to the Membership Committee.
- The Membership Committee will review the application. The applicants Probationary Period begins at this time. The Probationary Period is a time for the applicant to get to know club members and to learn how the club operates.
- The Probationary Period is maintained in a 180 day period however at any time while in the reviewing process the Membership Committee can request adjustment to the length of time in Probationary Period.
- The Membership Committee will submit their recommendation to the President.
- The President will present the decision of the committee to the entire body of the club at the next available meeting. The applicant cannot be present at the meeting during the presentation of the decision or during voting.
- Members cast the final vote on acceptance or denial of the applicant.
- After obtaining full membership status the applicant is expected to pay the required dues.
Membership Dues:
Single Membership - $ 30.00 annually
Joint Membership: $ 45.00 annually (Joint membership is any two (2) members residing at the same dwelling (household).
