Fairgrounds will be available for vendor set up beginning 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 28th, 2007.  Campers may also arrive during this time.

    

    Gates will open for the Seventh Annual Heart of Virginia Bike Fair at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 29th at the Five County Fairgrounds.

 

    Music and Announcements will be provided during the day by DJ Mike Dowdy, Party-N-A-Box.

 

    Poker Run - 1st group out 9:00 a.m.  2nd group out 10:00 a.m.  You must ride in one of the scheduled groups to participate.  $500 purse - Split $250.00 for Winner of First Ride - $250.00 Winner of Second Ride.  Approximately a 2 hour ride.

 

    Bike Show Participants must register no later than 12:30 p.m.  Judging will begin at 1:00 p.m.  Classes are:  American Touring, American Cruiser, American Sport, Metric Touring, Metric Cruiser, Metric Sport, Trike, Antique and Custom.  Trophies will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place and a Special Trophy will be awarded to Best in Show.

 

    Bike Rodeo Begins at 1:30 p.m.  Events include:  Weenie Bite; Slow Ride, Double Slow Ride, Great Escape, Balloon Toss, Tator Sprint.  This event is being solely sponsored by Quiznos of Farmville and Certificates and Gift Cards will be awarded to the winners of each event. 

 

    Poker Run and Bike Show winners will be announced following the rodeo.  You must be present to win the Poker Run.

 

    The Heart of Virginia Bike Fair proudly welcomes THE OVERTIME BAND who will be performing on the fairgrounds from 4:00-8:00 pm.  Well known in the Central Virginia area, Overtime will perform a variety of music including Beach, Motown, and Rock!  You won't want to miss this performance!
